Dave and Lindsey drove from Denver to meet me in Estes Park on a gorgeous sunny and windy Saturday evening. We started at Mary’s Lake, where they had camped before and thus felt a bit of nostalgia. Then we hiked up a little trail to a spot that overlooked Mary’s Lake Lodge and Lily Mountain. Finally, I had them follow me to this spot in an open field overlooking the mountains where we were lucky enough to get a pretty up close and personal encounter with wild elk, which were ALL OVER the city the entire time I was there.

Alex and Aleaha are expecting their first child! We were able to get in a spring maternity session at Schaar’s Bluff in Hastings MN near their home, just as the grass was regaining it’s life. In a few short weeks I’ll get to meet this bundle of love and both of them will get to spend their summer off from teaching loving on and spoiling their newborn. The BEST!

The gorgeous Grace was one of my Class of 2021 associate senior clients and she met up with team member Amber in Stillwater for her senior portraits. Grace is a Hudson High School Raider and recently finished up her basketball season at State! Such an exciting moment to be able to experience, especially during a pandemic when so many experiences have been stolen. So incredibly special.
Immediately upon meeting CJ + Kelly for their engagement session at Interstate State Park, I knew exactly why they had decided to have a micro wedding. They are like poster children for the small, intimate way of marrying. These two go with the flow, refuse to get wrapped up in the details, and understand that joy is one of the biggest keys to making a relationship work. You can just TELL by the way they interact with each other - being in one another’s arms and laughing is their happy place.
