CJ + Kelly | A Snowy Romantic Engagement Session | Interstate State Park Engagement Photographer

These two went to UW-Madison and met on the downhill ski team. They were friends all throughout
college and reunited at an alumni football game a couple of years after graduation where they both confessed that they had liked each other the entire time. They started dating soon after, and
approximately one year ago, while on a ski trip to Michigan with some friends, they were off skiing by themselves and got lost on one of the tree runs. CJ yelled out to Kelly to stop, so she did and turned around to find CJ down on one knee.

Immediately upon meeting CJ + Kelly for their engagement session at Interstate State Park, I knew exactly why they had decided to have a micro wedding. They are like poster children for the small, intimate way of marrying. These two go with the flow, refuse to get wrapped up in the details, and understand that joy is one of the biggest keys to making a relationship work. You can just TELL by the way they interact with each other - being in one another’s arms and laughing is their happy place.
