Sleepy Landon | Newborn Lifestyle Session | Wausau WI Newborn Photographer

Babies are many things, but above all else, babies are unpredictable! You just don’t know if they’re going to be wide awake for their newborn lifestyle session or if they’ll be sleepy. So when I met baby Landon in his home for his Newborn Lifestyle Session in WI I prepared for either scenario! But this sleepy guy was ready for me.

Baby Landon was one of the sleepiest babies I’ve ever photographed. Even when he was awake, he looked like he was in complete euphoria! He has such a calming energy about him, even as a tiny newborn baby.

Landon’s parents booked me to travel to Wausau WI for their newborn lifestyle session in their gorgeous home. The beautifully decorated nursery felt so inviting! It was full of little foxes and other animal friends for baby Landon. The details in the room were so sweet, I especially loved the bookshelf behind the recliner! It was in the perfect spot to enjoy the great lighting in the room.

During the session I got to chat with his mom about photography and Hawaii where they got married! (No surprise that these are a few of my favorite subjects!) And when the newborn lifestyle session was over, I walked away with some home decor inspiration.

Photographing your bundles of joy brings me so much joy. The innocence that brand new souls have is all the reminder I need of the good that there is in this world. And knowing that now you’ll have these memories to look back on years from now with them when they’re older is so special.
