It was the perfect match made in Heaven. Jasna was looking for a man who had tattoos but wasn’t a jerk, someone who wanted to travel the world with her and create a family. A friend set them up, but Jason was living in Las Vegas and Jasna was living in Minneapolis. After a year and a half of dating long distance and living across the country from each other (with lots of quick jaunts to Los Angeles, Sedona, and Utah to name a few), Jason said goodbye to Las Vegas and moved to Minneapolis to buy a 1929 Tudor home with his girl. He then proposed at Lake Bled, Slovenia and they eloped half a year later at the historic Minneapolis City Hall. Traditional was just never a word that described them.

Now they are expecting a little girl, Baby V, due really any day now, and Jasna envisioned a less-than-traditional maternity session as well. I was invited into their home for some intimate and affectionate moments before moving outdoors to a Minneapolis park, which looks more like a whimsical field in Georgia to be honest. I’m anxiously awaiting the news of Baby V’s arrival to this world and into the arms of these amazing people who are going to make the perfect parents. She’s so lucky J+J!
