Brad + Taylor | An October Wedding at UWRF | River Falls WI Wedding Photographer

Almost a whole year went by between Brad & Taylor’s engagement session and their wedding day, and so I spent 11 months anticipating this big day! The weather was perfect on this crisp October day with the sun shining and no snow left on the ground from the unusual snow storm 2 weeks prior.

Brad & Taylor met while working together at Dick’s Fresh Market in River Falls during their college years. I really enjoyed hearing the story from college where Taylor tried convincing her friends to work there because of all the cute guys haha. They were married at St Bridget’s Catholic Church and decided to hold their wedding reception at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, their alma mater, and although I’ve lived in River Falls for the past 5 years, it was my first time at an event inside the campus. Their banquet room and Falcon’s Nest are perfect for a wedding reception and dance, and the staff did an amazing job from start to finish there. I highly recommend them as a wedding vendor!

This was the first wedding I photographed where the bride decided to do 3 different First Looks: her husband, her father, and her grandfather. I ended up LOVING this idea! It was so emotional and the way those 3 important men in her life looked at her was just so incredibly special. Brides take note! Should we make triple first looks a thing in 2019?

This was also the second wedding of the year where the bride and her father broke out into a badass dance mid-way through their father/daughter slow dance. Aaaaaaaand I’m loving this idea as well. Dad’s know how to get down!!
