Mike + Alison | Sunrise Amphitheater and Lost Gulch Wedding | Boulder CO Wedding and Elopement Photographer

To say I was looking forward to this wedding all year would be quite an understatement! Alison and Mike decide to get married on a mountain in Boulder CO and I was ecstatic to be asked to document this special day with them!

We started their wedding day out with a drive up Flagstaff Mountain, stopping to allow Mike and Alison to do their first look before family photos. They held their wedding ceremony at Sunrise Amphitheater overlooking Boulder, which was a freaking dream! Their guests consisted of family and close friends from near and far, and it was beyond beautiful!

After the ceremony, Mike and Alison high-tailed it to Lost Gulch Lookout and then back down the mountain to Chautauqua Park to do their portraits. I will never get enough of those views, even if my ears were so clogged due to allergies and elevation that I could barely hear anything - I only needed my eyes!

Mike and Alison held their reception at their gorgeous home and backyard over two days, so we celebrated extra hard with these two love birds! They danced to Tus Pies by Nahko and Medicine for The People, which just so happens to be one of my all time favorite bands. Just look at the way they gaze at each other!
