Winter Wonderland Family Session | Plum City WI Lifestyle Photographer

Every once in a great while, what you thought would be a typical fall family photo session turns into a winter wonderland dream in October and you wonder what you did to deserve the chance to photograph a gorgeous family on an incredible property in magical weather.

I was so happy to see that the Omtvedt family was just as excited as I was that it had decided to snow in October. On my drive to Plum City, WI to photograph them, I felt like I was driving through the Smoky Mountains. {That reminds me that I never blogged our trip to the Smoky Mountains last fall when it definitely snowed in October and was less-than-normal weather THERE, which made for some detours in our plans as far as what areas we could explore by car and hike. I’ll have to remember to blog that soon….}

Anyways, the western side of Wisconsin has such beautiful countryside which makes for some wonderful backdrops for my clients. And it also has some amazing families. Cherèe is a District Manager at Arbonne and Calvin is a volunteer firefighter in Ellsworth, WI and that’s just their side passions for now - they also have full time jobs, are connected to their communities, and are parents to some bright and lovely kids.
