Thane + Megan | A Snowy Interstate State Park Winter Engagement Session | Osceola Wedding Photographer
We Mid-westerners deal with the cold and snow for a good 5 months out of the year while the rest of the USA thinks we are crazy. And in 2020 I promised myself I would do more outdoor activities in the winter to help pass the time, fully enjoy all seasons, and basically to learn how NOT to resent this period where my skin cracks open and my bones are frozen.
Not sure how, but I managed to talk Thane + Megan into a winter engagement session at Interstate State Park on a January morning! I was hoping we wouldn’t have a high of 0 degrees, and we got lucky! We trudged through the snowy hills and cliffs at a balmy 20-something degrees and I just love how these turned out. The huge icicles on the cliffs made for a creative backdrop!
The highlight of this day was when Megan texted me afterwards, letting me know that not only did they think I was fun, but they could tell that I also mean business and that I’ll keep them on schedule during their wedding this August at Croix-View Farm in Osceola, WI. I think you’ve got me pegged perfectly!!
Take a look at these cuties and tell me you don’t melt :)
