Andy + Danielle | A Winter Engagement Session in Athens WI | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

On a cold January day, Andy swore to protect and serve the Wausau community as a full time police officer, and then he got down on one knee and proposed to Danielle in front of everyone. Spoiler alert: she said yes and swore to spend the rest of her life with him. If that’s not the cutest engagement story I don’t know what is!

We spent the first half of their engagement session in their first home together, getting cozy by the fireplace, dancing in the kitchen, and giggling a lot. I made them get CLOSE! I was so proud of them for getting outside of their comfort zone, as in-home sessions sometimes can make men in particular a little nervous. For the second half of their engagement session, we headed to a park in Athens WI and froze our butts off. But honestly, the way these two look at each other….like there are magical sparks between them….made any temperature worth it.
